Crew Mates

Hey guys, its been a minute since Ive put up a meaningful post (other then hey guys dont be assholes... which apparently is the main idea of all my posts)

but for the past week i was working on a crew trailer (which im still missing quiet a few people so there's still more to do) watching 12 peoples battle and session videos and i've noticed this,

My crew is called Sexual Napalm, my other crew is called SOS. In SNC there's about 14 members, in SOS theres 7. Granted that isnt a HUGE number but it is enough to make people nervous at jams (rollin deep ya know haha) but we're (for the most part) very respectful people, we all have different views on breaking, session, crews etc etc which is all good and dandy. But what we do agree on (we havent spoken of it directly, but watching hours and hours of breaking footage i can put it out there) is that when we're not battling, we aren't in the battle. We stand by our crews and support them. if say my boys from SOS are battling my boys from SNC, then it's understood that we have to support our FIRST crew first (which again is fine, we're family so it shouldnt matter as long as you make it known.
(this is the convo that goes down everytime this happens)

"yo you know you guys are my boys my family, but i have to support "backstreet boys" first cause they were my first crew... but smoke the fuck out of them"
we dap eachother up and go sit next to whatever crew we're "supporting" that round.

(so to the point)
we go and sit down next to the crew, we watch,we clap, we give advice
-i remember colossus standing next to "johny walkers crew" (his first crew) and me mouthing across the floor to him "Did i do this combo yet? what moves havent i done" hahaha as embaressing as that is to admit sometimes i need a little help, and he mouthed back "this that and the other" so it truely is about support and not i want this crew to smoke you guys, and had his crew asked what i was doing, i wouldnt have been disappointed if zack told them.

but alot of crews will get into the battle... watch this battle (just from the sidelines, dont watch who battles, but watch when the left side ISNT battling, and try to figure out which one is in the finals.... i dare you)
after watching it 4 times, i feel like 2 people were just dancing/messing around near the judges to distract them from the actual battle. how can you judge a battle fairly when you only see half of it ya know, so your going to just judge on what you saw or throw a tie but who knows.

the point is though, that YOU ARENT BATTLING, so dont act like your battling, i know you want to support your crew and you want them to win but it really doesnt affect you. if you arent in the battle don't act like you are. out of common courtesy, respect, you dont wanna look like an asshole, something... because your making your crew look like douchebags because there's crewmates that cant control themselves in a public place.if your crew is that good, they dont need your help calling crashes, bites, whatever, if they suck and need the help.... then they prolly shouldnt be battling anyway.
but remember, when you look like an asshole, your making your friends and family look like assholes, which makes their friends and families look like assholes. when you do things that are disrespectful on purpose, it doesnt just affect you it affects everyone around you.

we all make mistakes and are jerks from time to time, it happens, we say and do things we prolly shouldnt have, thats part of life, but when you do these things, attempt to fix it so you dont do them again
